Join us for a fun and informative, hands-on fabric dyeing workshop at Public Works Art Center in Summerville! We will use the traditional batik wax-resist technique to create beautiful fabric wall hangings:

• Design and paint a 100% cotton, hand-dyed moon phase wall-hanging, using all natural soy wax and custom blended fabric dyes

• Receive step by step instructions for sketching your moon phase design, adding embellishments, and applying your wax

• Choose from 3 color options for dyeing: burnt orange, deep sea blue, and vintage purple*

• Take home a 10”x 36” wall hanging along with a dowel rod for hanging

Your ticket cost includes light snacks and refreshments. Feel free to also BYOB (bring your own beverage)

Please note, there will be a 20 minute break time while our wall hangings set in the dye baths. All materials provided, please wear your finest crafting clothes as fabric dye is known to stain ;)
