Help us honor the January Full Moon with a watercolor party! On January 7th, we’ll be painting moon phases at the wonderful Amor Healing Kitchen in Avondale. We’ll go through the basics of watercolor, have plenty of practice time, and play around with salt to get a cool surface-of-the-moon effect. Everyone will take home a hand painted watercolor moon painting, color of your choice! Part of the workshop will also be centered around our obsession with the moon, with a lesson about following moon phases and how to incorporate that into everyday life.
All materials provided and all skill-levels welcome. Kids 10+ welcome (must be accompanied by a participating adult).
This community workshop will be held at one of our favorite new non-profits - Amor Healing Kitchen - which provides nutritious, plant-based meals {made with love by teen volunteers} for people facing health challenges. You'll get to taste some of their delicious concoctions, too!
Tickets are $50, and include light hors d'oeuvres and a mocktail prepared by Amor Kitchen. Pre-registration is always recommended, and you can register here:
