Batik is Back!! Join us this October for a hands-on fabric dying workshop using the traditional batik wax-resist technique and create a 100% cotton, hand-dyed moon phase wall-hanging!
This time we’ll be set up at our favorite local antique & craft mall - The Station Park Circle. The Station has an eclectic mix of vintage clothing, antique housewares, records, & other local artisan goodies and don’t worry - there will be a break in the middle of the workshop to give you time to peruse & shop!
Workshop Details:
Receive step by step instructions for sketching your moon phase design and applying wax
Choose from 3 color options for dyeing (midnight blue, terracotta, and dusty rose)
Everyone will take home a 10”x 33” wall hanging along with a dowel rod for hanging
We'll be gettin' messy, so wear your finest crafting clothes as fabric dye is known to stain ;)
Your ticket cost includes snacks, water and wine! Feel free to also BYOB (bring your own beverage)
Workshop begins at 6:00pm on the dot, can’t wait to see you!
