Join us for a bright and festive, virtual watercolor workshop to ring in the holiday season! We’ll be painting gorgeous holiday wreaths and evergreens using our simple approach, and learning some great watercolor basics as well.
We’ll take you through some watercolor basics, show you some easy techniques for painting evergreen winter motifs, then give you time to play & practice along with some great ideas for making gifts, tags, and decor with your new skills.

WORKSHOP INCLUDES:
Intro to watercolor basics (supplies, brush techniques, and color mixing)
Step by step instruction for painting evergreen botanicals like holly berries, spruce, and pine
Practice time to get the feel for painting your greenery
Tons of fun, creative ideas for how to use your new festive painting skills
MATERIALS NEEDED:
Watercolor set & a plastic palette for mixing colors (usually the top of a watercolor set works perfectly for this)
Watercolor paper, size 8.5x11 or larger, 140lb, several pages
Paintbrushes (round brushes work best, a variety of sizes. At least one small brush size 0-2, one medium brush size 3-4, and one large size 8-10)
Pencil with a good eraser
Paper towels
2 cups of clean water
Pipette (optional)
Something round to trace like a jar lid or small bowl
HOW IT WORKS:
Sign up online, buy your supplies, and on the morning of the workshop you’ll receive a link to the “meeting”, sent to the email address used to purchase the workshop.
