We are so excited to invite you to our Summer Solstice Party on June 23rd! We’ve been “dying” to sharpen our Shibori skills, so we thought we’d invite you all over for a party while we’re at it! To celebrate the official start to summer, we’ll be setting up for a day of drop-in style Indigo Shibori Dying and hope you’ll stop by. Here’s how it will work:

You’ll bring:

1. A few small to medium pieces of all natural, white fabric (could be fabric scraps, pillow cases, clothing)

2. A pair of protective gloves (latex or dishwashing gloves would work)

3. A plastic bag for taking home your creations

4. Your favorite summer beverage

5. Your favorite friends to craft with

We’ll Provide:

1. Plenty of fabric dye in our current favorite colors (think Indigo Blue, Burgundy, and Burnt Orange)

2. All the clips, bands, string, and caps you’ll need to create the folds and dye patterns

3. Easy to follow instruction on how to fold and secure your fabrics for the dye bath
