Tap into your Intuition: Creative Mindfulness Sessions

Art making for us has always been about the process over the final product. The paint moving on the paper, the wax pooling on the fabric, pencil in hand. Your mind quiets and you connect with yourself again.

We’re so excited to now offer Creative Mindfulness sessions, either 1:1 or with your group, and we can’t wait to meet you. This workshop series is designed to provide simple, meaningful tools you can use daily to express your emotions and reconnect with your intuition, using watercolor, paint, pens, and pencil as our medium.

Here is a quick taste of the offerings we have for Creative Mindfulness:

Self Love Affirmation Art

90% of our daily thinking is made up of repetitive thoughts, and more often then not those thoughts are negative. Together we will work to identify those natural negative thought patterns through a creative journaling exercise, then learn to turn them into positive affirmations. We will finish off this powerful workshop by creating beautiful cards of self love and affirmations to adorn our homes.

Mandala Art for Positive Mindset

In the Mandala Art for Positive Mindsets workshop, we will learn to relax the mind, identify negative thought patterns, and then create positive affirmations as we draw and add color to our mandalas.

Discover simple yet intricate techniques for drawing a mandala at home, create a mandala of your own, and leave with a few useful drawing exercises you can use whenever your mind is in stress mode to help you find peace of mind again.

Intuitive Painting Session

Intuitive art is a way to creatively express messages you receive from your gut, and our Intuitive Painting workshop offers a simple approach to starting this practice.

We will start with a peaceful guided meditation, then express our thoughts and feelings with paint on your very own canvas tote or art canvas (your choice). This practice is simple yet powerful, and is an exercise you can repeat at home when you need some extra inspiration for your creativity.

Animal Oracle Card Reading + Spirit Animal Illustration Session

Animal spirits have been used to guide our paths since pre-historic times. This sessions begins with an oracle card reading using my favorite Animal Spirit deck. If you already have an animal in mind, we can use it as inspiration as well. We will then draw your chosen animal together, reflecting on and expressing its messages in our art. We will finish up your illustration with watercolor and pen. Leave feeling grounded, inspired, and more connected with the natural world. This is a great 1:1 session.

Mindful Mandala Workshop

Mandala making is an ancient tool for meditation, rooted in ancient Tibet and practiced all over the world. In this workshop, we will get centered, visualize our intentions, and creatively express a positive outlook for the future using watercolors, pen, and colored pencil. We will give you the step by step process for outlining your mandala, guidance on design, and then allow open art time to settle into the process.
